BCG Energy is committed to developing a UCG as a sustainable energy source.

Sustainability is the long-term maintenance of well being, which has environmental, economic and social dimensions, and encompasses the concept of stewardship, the responsible management of resource use.

• We will seek to ensure that our projects cause minimal disruption to the environment during development, operation and after resources are depleted. We will also minimise the impact of energy production through the active research and implementation of carbon dioxide abatement techniques.
• Our projects will return economic prosperity to communities once dependent on mining for employment and bring commercial benefits to other areas that have not previously been able to capitalise on their stranded resources.
• We will actively contrbute to energy industry research to develop more and better ways to use UCG products.
• Our addition of UCG products into the global energy mix will enable the promotion of more appropriate and responsible use of our earth's resources.
